FWWB marked its 44th Foundation Day with a field-based celebration, reinforcing its strong connection with the communities it serves. The team visited the field in Malavada near Dholka to commemorate the occasion and was warmly welcomed by women members, local leaders, and other community stakeholders, reflecting the trust and goodwill built over the years.
As part of the celebration, a plantation drive was undertaken, with 44 trees planted to symbolise each year of FWWB’s journey. Of these, 4–5 fruit-bearing saplings were distributed to local farmers, encouraging them to plant and nurture these trees on their farms, contributing to both environmental sustainability and livelihood support.
The event also provided an opportunity to engage with women members and hear their inspiring stories of resilience and growth. The celebration served as a reminder of FWWB’s continued commitment to community-led development and strengthened partnerships for the year ahead.
