A Postgraduate in Economics, she did advanced courses in Economics from the Economic Institute, Harvard Institute for International Development, and Women’s World Banking of USA. She worked with the Administrative Staff College of India (Hyderabad), AKRSP (Ahmedabad), and since 1989, she has been with FWWB India as Chief Executive Officer. She has served as a member in the Standing Committee on Gender Issues in Credit and Support Services of NABARD, Project Advisory Group of CGAP, Task Force on Microfinance of RBI, Governing Board MCRIL, Board of Indian School of Microfinance for Women, Governing Board of SIDBI Foundation for Micro Credit, Board of Trustees APMAS and Appropriate Technology, India.
Nandini Arora joined FWWB with the strong belief that all women can succeed with support and opportunities leading to enhanced quality of life. She draws on her experience in development sector of strong program management skills to align with organization’s mission towards self- reliance of women. Prior to joining the organization, has led the team in various capacities with focus on rural development with special interest in equitable approach of development. Nandini began her career in public health which extended to diverse themes where her strong interest lies in women and entrepreneurial projects. Nandini hold her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and earned her doctoral degree in Gerontology from Dept. of Psychology, Faculty of Education and Psychology, M.S. University of Baroda.
Postgraduate in Business Administration and specialisation in Finance, she has an overall experience of 14 years in the field of banking, micro finance, credit and capacity building. She has been associated with FWWB from the year 2005 and has a prior experience of working with Citibank retail banking segment. At FWWB, she contributes towards fund raising, managing funder relationships and program development. She has played an active role in the designing of capacity building support for institutions in the areas of governance, operations, products, MIS, HR management, etc. and has also contributed in various institutional documentation and publications.
With B.Tech in Textile Technology and a postgraduate degree in Rural Management, he has a decade of experience in financing livelihoods, renewable energy, water & sanitation and agriculture. He started his career with SKS Microfinance and contributed in scaling up its activities in West Bengal. He joined FWWB in 2011. He works closely with funders and portfolio companies for program management and program development, strengthening farmer producers companies.
With a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and a specialisation in Finance, she has 11 years of experience in working with the retail banking and development sector. She worked with Axis Bank, the Technical Support Unit of SEWA bank, and Indian School of Microfinance for Women. She has been with FWWB since 2014. Her core areas of work include financial inclusion, financial literacy, business development and management, governance in community based organisations, producer groups, women empowerment and leadership development.
A Post Graduate in Social Work with more than seven years of work experience in the sector, he worked with Disha Charitable Trust at Baroda in Gujarat on community based rehabilitation and livelihood promotion for the disabled youth. In the year 2010, he joined FWWB as Program Officer and has been looking after Agriculture Finance for women, and strengthening the women farmers’ producers’ companies. His core focus areas are undertaking due diligence, monitoring and evaluation, and developing MIS for the program. He has a flair for writing poetry and short stories in Gujarati and Hindi.
A management graduate from IIT Kharagpur he had a blend of corporate and development sector experience before he became part of FWWB. He started his career with Wipro Technologies but later joined Self- Reliant Initiative through Joint Action (SRIJAN) to understand rural India and its dynamics. His area of interest is strengthening producer’s organisation and market linkage for livelihood promotion.
A Graduate in Food Technology with an MBA in Agri-Business Management, she has about three years of experience in the development sector. Her core strength has been training and development, especially in the fields of management of agri-business entrepreneurship of farmer producer organizations, and entrepreneurship services of microfinance institutions. At FWWB, she has been involved in various capacity development programs relating to micro-enterprise support and finance program of HSBC, SIDBI, and NABARD.
With a Masters in Social Work, she has about two years of work experience in Development Sector. Started her career with Deepak Foundation as Assistant project coordinator for the Balwadi project, Pune, where she worked with urban local government in the fields of education, capacity building, community resources management, health etc. Besides, she looked after MIS and Documentation.
With a post graduate degree from the Development Management Institute in Patna, Shreya joined FWWB in 2017. She works on building capacities of women entrepreneurs and farmer producer companies. She also conducts research for the various programs.
A Postgraduate in financial management, she has an experience of more than twenty five years in accounts matters in the development sector. She worked with SEWA Bank and later joined FWWB in the year 1992. In SEWA bank, she coordinated with software companies to develop a banking software package (BASS). She handles credit assessment, monitoring, and institutional lending processes. Her core competencies remain in the areas of effective management of the organization’s financial and accounting operations for development activities. She also possess skills in fund management, fund development, financial reporting of domestic and international donors, rating agencies, external evaluators and human resource management.
With Masters in Commerce and CA- Inter she has five years of experience in accounting and taxation matters. She has also experience in auditing of banking, trust, construction, etc sectors during her articleship period. She employs her expertise in preparation of various MIS on timely basis along with handling accurately daily accounting and taxation and all other compliance matters.
With a amasters degree in Commerce and an MBA in Finance, she has more than four years of experience in accounting and finance. She looks after implementation of FIMO (accounting software) in the system.
Manali is a Chartered Accountant with over 5 years of professional experience. She joined FWWB in 2018. Before this, she has worked at the National Rural Health Mission ( a unit of the Government of Gujarat) and at Skyward Techno Solutions. She is taking care of the organisation’s accounting, taxation, and MIS.
Rashmi has had over 25 years of experience working with the corporate and development sector. Her journey with the non-profit sector started from 2001, when she joined the International Federation of Red Cross and Red crescent Societies – IFRC as a Sr. Administrative Officer for their earthquake rehabilitation project in Gujarat. She has worked with CHF-International-India for their urban development project. Before joining FWWB in 2018, she was working with the Danish trade Commission, the commercial wing of the Royal Danish Embassy. She has varied experience of working in administration, accounts, customer relations, and government liaison.
